Job Description

POSITION:

• ENL Teacher
• District Wide-anticipated Secondary placement                         

 

QUALIFICATIONS:   

• Appropriate NYS Certification- TESOL, or Alternate Certification Pathways
• Second certification in Secondary content area preferred

                                               

SKILLS:                                  

• Knowledge of state assessments NYSITELL and NYSESLAT
• Knowledge and experience administrating state assessments
• Experience with integrated ENL classes
• Strong communication skills
• Bilingual Preferred

                                                                       

SALARY:

• Salary will be determined in accordance with the WTA contract based on the individual’s prior training and level of experience.

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• 4-Year Probationary

 

EFFECTIVE DATE:    

• on or about 9/1/26

 

REPORTS TO:

• Building Principal
