  • Experience with and/or knowledge of: SAVVAS-My View Literature & Envision Math, Fundations, iReady, Science 21

Elementary LOA-Math AIS

ANTICIPATED POSITION:  Elementary Teacher (Math AIS)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid New York State teaching certification in Elementary Education. 
  • Strong math background required (provide college transcripts of math coursework and/or math focused professional development)
  • Preferred Bilingual. 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:   Position requires planning, organization, and implementation of the appropriate instructional program to address the learning needs of the students. Successful candidate will:

  • Provide direct instruction to students identified as eligible for math services in individual, and/or small group settings that facilitate active learning experiences;
  • Use identified needs to guide the learning process toward student achievement of the district’s math content standards;
  • Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units and projects using formal and informal assessment data obtained from students;
  • Use a variety of manipulatives and hands-on activities to support content standards and the needs and capabilities of the individuals or student groups involved;
  • Create a classroom environment and research-based program of study that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students;

SALARY:   Salary will be determined based on the individual’s level of experience.

Earth Science Teacher-LOA

POSITION:                   Earth Science 7-12-LOA

                                    District Wide-High School placement

                                   

QUALIFICATIONS:        Earth Science 7-12

                                    Preferred Dual Certification

                                     

SALARY:                       Salary will be determined in accordance with the WTA contract based on the individual’s prior training and level of experience.

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:      11/7/25-6/26/26                    

 

EFFECTIVE DATE:                     on or about 11/7/25

 

REPORTS TO:                           Building Principal
