Bus Driver Substitutes

Position Title: Substitute Bus Driver (Continuous Recruitment)

Job Description:  We are seeking dedicated and responsible substitute bus drivers to join our team. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage various driving situations with professionalism. We are willing to provide all necessary training and support to those individuals interested.

Qualifications:  Drivers must be at least 21 years of age and must either currently hold a valid NYS Driver's CDL Class B License with Passenger Endorsement or have the ability to obtain such a license after proper training. 

The applicant must have good knowledge of driving safety practices and traffic laws and regulations; ability to operate a bus under difficult driving and road conditions; ability to understand and follow simple oral and written directions; ability to get along well with children and command their respect; mechanical aptitude; mental alertness; dependability; physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.

In addition, candidates must satisfy the requirements for School Bus Driver set forth in the Rules and Regulation of the New York State Commissioner of Education.

Salary & Terms of Employment - Per Diem Substitute Bus Drivers i$25 per hour
